The renowned Karlsruhe artist David Perez, known as DAPE, unveiled a fascinating new art collection at the beginning of 2024. This series, which has captivated art lovers and car enthusiasts alike, combines traditional art techniques with street culture, making Perez’s works unique.
The „Auto Art“ collection features 1:24 scale model cars transformed in vibrant street style and creatively mounted on 50 x 50 cm canvases. These canvases, treated with various techniques like acrylic paints, spray cans, and markers, tell the stories of the depicted vehicles.
David Perez is no stranger to the art scene; he has been working as an artist for years and has held numerous exhibitions in Karlsruhe and the surrounding area. Each piece in the collection is framed in a deep 50 x 50 x 6 cm frame, emphasizing the three-dimensional effect of the artworks and giving them a modern, almost sculptural character. David Perez’s „Auto Art“ series is now exclusively on display at the BB Fahrzeugpflege showroom.
